A custom Renesas-based platform for independently controlling four brushless DC motors with real-time embedded firmware.

Overview

This project is a custom embedded control platform for driving four brushless DC motors independently. It brings motor-control electronics, a Renesas microcontroller, and real-time firmware into one board-level system.

Technical

The design coordinates four motor channels through PWM generation, sensor feedback, and shared communication interfaces. Firmware is organized around deterministic control paths, fault handling, and hardware-aware timing.

Renesas RA microcontrollers, embedded C, PWM, SPI, schematic capture, PCB layout, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
